Eiberger named MIAA Student-Athlete of the Week

KANSAS CITY - Northwest Missouri State senior Tammie Eiberger was named MIAA soccer student-athlete of the week as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Eiberger, a senior transfer, helped the Bearcats finish their opening weekend 1-1 as she scored four goals in two games. She finished with a hat trick on Saturday to send Northwest to overtime with Texas A&M-Commerce, before falling 4-4. She added her fourth goal of hte weekend in a 2-1 win over Wayne State on Sunday.

The Bearcat return to action this weekend in Wichita as they take on Friends University on Thursday and Newman on Saturday.
