
KIRKSVILLE, Mo.—Northwest Missouri State allowed three goals for the first time in 21 games and lost a 3-0 decision to Truman Monday at Truman Soccer Park. The game was a makeup of last Thursday’s game which was postponed due to weather.
Katie Hinrichs scored in the 25th minute and the Bulldogs (11-2-2, 10-1 MIAA) rolled from there. Olivia Hayes made it 2-0 with a goal shortly before halftime and Beth Bystrom added an insurance goal midway through the second half.
The Bearcats (9-5-1, 5-5-1 MIAA) were out shot 16-8 and managed just four shots on goal. Leading scorer Andrea Tritz took just one shot.
