Procrastinating, Waiting for Thursday Soccer
Jacque Dedovesh, Sophomore, D, Soccer
So I'm just sitting around my house procrastinating on doing school work that I need to get done. I have a biology lab report due and I need to study for two tests. So it is going to be a busy week not only in school, but in soccer. We play UCM on Thursday at home and then we go to UNO on Saturday.
Both of these teams were very good last year and we ended up beating both of them towards the end of the season. It's going to be a good week for us to bounce back from last week after losing on the road for the first time this season. Playing on the turf was difficult for us I think, but like Coach said, "We never came off the bus." And that definitely showed on field and on the scoreboard (0-2). But like we always say, it's a new week. School work needs to be done and winning needs to happen.
I turn 20 on Monday October, 5. I don't know why, but I love birthdays, even when it's not my own! So have a good week! Come and support us in beating those Jennies on Thursday at 4 pm on Bearcat Pitch. When I talk to you next time I will be older!!
