First Round of Tests
Amanda Olah, Junior, D, Soccer
So I just got through my first round of tests so far this year and I must say, not too shabby. Yesterday was the first one in Textiles and I think I did well actually. I really like that class so far. Dealing with fabrics and finishes plus the different types of fibers (you would be surprised at how many there are besides cotton and polyester). It's not for everyone that's for sure, but I love it. That's what matters right? Second test was in Econ I, yucky, but not too bad. I guess we'll have to wait and see what I got on them.
Soccer was a bust last night. We lost to Mo West (don't ask) 2-0. My teammates keep getting injured and so do I. It's so frustrating. We have one girl in a boot, another in a cast and some may be out for the season. My hamstring kills me when I play but can't complain too much. At least I'm still playing. Even though we lost yesterday, I am still in a good mood today and still living the dream.
We have the rest of the weekend off…yay!!! No game Saturday and no practice until Sunday night. Woohoo!!! Giving the team some much needed rest is going to be great and I only have one more class today, then I'm done until Monday (except for a huge project I'll have to do this weekend, no big deal). Hope everyone's weekend is as great as mine is going to be!!!
