I'm Glad This Was A Short Week
Amanda Olah, Junior, D, Soccer
So what can I say? I'm sick and it's horrible. I have no idea what's wrong with me or how I got it but I feel miserable at the moment.
We lost to Truman today to top it all off. We almost had it. After they scored their first goal in the first half, we got it right back with a great free kick from Heidi. Then they scored again with about 12 minutes to go in the second half and we couldn't get it back.
They were good, but I wish I had played more. I didn't do as well as I probably could have but I felt like I was going to throw up halfway through the game. I also got rocked in the back of the head by our keeper and Kira isn't someone you want to get into a fight with.
Now I have homework and reading to do for class tomorrow that I may not be able to attend depending on how I am feeling - great. I just kind of wish I could go home right now, but that would be impossible. I live in California, for one, and I don't have parents waiting for me there since they are both still in Germany (yes, I am still jealous). I even bought a ticket to Arrowhead that I might not get to attend either. I hate being sick, it ruins everything.
Not much else to say except that I am glad this is a short week because it's a crappy one. Only two classes tomorrow then the weekend! Woohoo! One more game on Saturday at noon, then off for the rest of the weekend. Have a good one!!!
