Bearcat Soccer Falls 2-0 to Central Missouri
WARRENSBURG, Mo. – (Box Score) Northwest Missouri State soccer allowed a goal in each half in a 2-0 setback at Central Missouri tonight.
The Bearcats (5-11-1, 4-8-1 MIAA) outshot the Jennies 4-2 in the second period and had six corner kicks, but couldn’t manage one through the net off of three shots on goal.
Central Missouri went up in the 26th minute after an accidental own goal by Northwest. Lindsay Hoerl scored the second Jennies goal in the 66th minute off an assist from Hazel Cox.
Northwest closes out the season tomorrow night, traveling to Missouri Western for a 7 p.m. contest.
