
MARYVILLE – (Box Score) Northwest Missouri State soccer outshot Southwest Baptist 7-4 on shots on goal, but couldn’t manage one through the net as Northwest dropped a 1-0 game to Southwest Baptist today at Bearcat Pitch.
Dominie Emmanuel scored the lone goal in the 23rd minute for Southwest Baptist, beating goalkeeper Lauren Hodgson to score unassisted. Hodgson made three saves within the first 10 minutes of the game.
Northwest outshot Southwest Baptist 7-3 in the second half, allowing no shots on goal by the visiting Bearcats.
Holly Ramaeker led Northwest with four shots, including three on target. Andrea Freeman notched a pair of shots with one on goal.
Northwest closes out the regular season on the road, beginning with a trip to Central Missouri on Oct. 26 for a 7 p.m. game.
