Bearcats Fall 3-0 to Truman
MARYVILLE – (Box Score) Northwest Missouri State outshot Truman 6-0 to start the game, but couldn’t put one in the net during a 3-0 loss to the Bulldogs this afternoon at Bearcat Pitch. Northwest drops to 3-9 and 2-6 in MIAA play.
Andrea Freeman led the Bearcat attack in the first 20 minutes, shooting two of the six Northwest shots in the span. The Bearcats would struggle the rest of the half, recording only one shot in the final 25 minutes while allowing a trio of Truman goals before the end of half.
The Bearcats head to Kansas for a pair of road games next weekend, taking on Washburn at 7 p.m. on Oct. 12.
