Bearcats Fall 2-0 to Truman
KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - (Box Score) Northwest Missouri State soccer allowed a single goal in each half in dropping a 2-0 game to Truman on the road today. The Bearcats move to 3-8 and 2-5 in the MIAA while the Bulldogs improve to 8-3-1 and 5-1-1 in conference action.
Truman scored with less than five minutes remaining in the first half off a goal from Isabel Gaeta, going into halftime with a 1-0 lead. Northwest recorded the first three shots of the second half, including a shot on goal by Marti Trummer in the 51st minute. The Bearcats held Truman from shooting until the 66th minute, when Riley Mahn scored off a pass from Katie Reuck.
Lauren Hodgson made three saves for Northwest.
The Bearcats host Truman on Oct. 7, in a 2 p.m. game from Bearcat Pitch.
