Northwest Soccer Adds Division I Transfer
MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State soccer team and head coach Tracy Cross announced the signing of Division I transfer Holly Ramaeker.
Ramaeker comes from North Dakota State, where she played in ten games and had one assist in 2005. Prior to her collegiate career, she played her prep career at Omaha Burke High School, where she earned Class A First Team All-State and was named to the Girls Super-State during her junior and senior seasons.
In her four seasons of high school soccer, Ramaeker scored 28 goals and had 12 assists. During her junior season, she scored 13 goals, chipped in with four assists and was named captain her senior year. Her total points (30) from her junior campaign, was good for 10th in the state of Nebraska.
"We are delighted to have Holly join the Bearcat soccer team," Cross said. "She will rejoin her club teammate freshman Jessica Braun. Holly will give us a lot of depth in the midfield and forward positions."
Ramaeker is the first to sign with Northwest during the offseason and will be eligible to play in 2006.
