
Kirksville, Mo.- Northwest Missouri State soccer team traveled to face Truman this afternoon looking to end the Bulldog’s five game winning streak. Unfortunately, the Bearcats ended up short with the score ending 4-0. This makes the ‘Cats record in the MIAA 1-4-2 and 2-6-3 overall on the year.
The Bulldogs dominated Northwest with 15 shots compared to two for Northwest. Freshman Megan Newland took the loss with two saves and two Truman goals in each half. Newland has played in three other Northwest games this season.
Northwest will be hosting the next five matches at home. The Bearcats will play Missouri Southern State at 2 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 15 and on Oct. 16 at 2 p.m. against Emporia state.
