Bolivar, Mo.- Northwest Missouri's Soccer team traveled to Bolivar to face Southwest Baptist this morning after dropping to Rolla last night 5-0. The 'Cats fell to Southwest Baptist 4-0 making their record 2-14-0 overall and 1-10-0 in MIAA action.
The 'Cats faced the number one seat in MIAA standings. Northwest was only allowed one shot on goal by Beth Gutschenritter against the conference's top defense of Southwest Baptist. Sophomore Alison Sheridan took the loss for the 'Cats this morning allowing all four goals to be scored.
Southwest Baptist's Ashley Munnelly had three of the four goals for the Lady Bearcats. Each goal assisted and was ended by beating Sheridan at the net.
The 'Cats will return home on Oct. 27 against Missouri Southern at 3 p.m. Northwest will be looking to play hard and for a win. This will be one of the last home games for the season. Nov. 2 will be the Bearcats last home game and will be saying farewell to the seniors at 3 p.m.
