'Cats and Lady Miners end tied, 0-0

MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri State women's soccer team and the University of Missouri-Rolla ended in a 0-0 tie on Saturday night at Rolla.

In the first half, neither team could get much of anything going. There were only a total of five shots taken in the first half, four of them coming from the Bearcats, two which were on goal.

To start the second half, Northwest came out a lot more aggressive as they took eight shots,but nothing got by the Lady Miner's goal keeper. Neither team could get anything by the goal keepers as they stopped every shot that came at them. In the overtimes', both teams tried to find away to score, but couldn't do it as the game ended in double ovetime, 0-0.

Northwest's record moves to 2-6-3 overall and 1-2-3 in the MIAA. The Bearcats continue on the road on Wednesday as they travel to Washburn, and then again to Emopia State on Sunday.
