'Cats and Lady Lions End in Double Overtime, 0-0

MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri State women's soccer team and Missouri Southern Lady Lions ended in a 0-0 tie.

In the first half, the Bearcats came out with fire as they took eight shots in the first half none getting by the Lady Lions goal keeper. The Bearcats defense held Missouri Southern without a shot in the first half. As the teams went to half tied at zero.

The second half, was pretty much the same as the first half as neither team could get anything by the goal keepers. The 'Cats had their chances, but could not convert. As the regulation ended with no score. In the both overtime's neither team could anything to work as the game ended, tied at zero.

Northwest's record moves to 2-6-2 overall and 1-2-2 in the MIAA. The Bearcats begin a four-game road trip on Saturday as they will be traveling to Missouri-Rolla for a 7 p.m. match.
