
MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri State women's soccer team fell to Southwest Baptist, 3-0 on Wednesday at Bolivar.
Southwest Baptist came out in the first half with an early goal when Pip Meo beat Bearcat goalkeeper Danielle Lawless (Jr., Denison, Iowa). Southwest Baptist scored again late in the first half to take a 2-0 lead going into halftime.
The second half was the same for the Bearcats as the first half. As they could not find away to score or even get a shot off. The Bearcats did not manage to get a shot off during the game. Southwest scored another goal in the 70th minute to score the final goal and go onto a 3-0 victory.
Northwest's record falls to 2-9-3 overall and 1-5-3 in the MIAA. The Bearcats will return to action this Friday as they will host Central Missouri State at Bearcat Pitch.
