Johnson Signs With Bearcat Soccer
MARYVILLE, Mo. - Northwest Missouri State University head women's soccer coach Joann Wolf has announced the signing of Heather Johnson (Sedalia, Mo.) to a national letters-of-intent.
Johnson, a goalkeeper, comes to Northwest from Sedalia Smith-Cotton High School. She was the starting goalkeeper for Smith-Cotton for the past two seasons. She was also a standout two-sport athlete, taking part in basketball as well.
"Heather will help us solidify the goalkeeper position," Wolf said. "She has good size and is a good athlete. She has a lot of potential as a goalkeeper at Northwest."
Johnson is also skilled in the field. She scored a hat trick in the field and was also credited with part of a shutout as a goalkeeper in the same. game.
