Bearcat tennis pushed to Saturday

TOPEKA, Kan. – The 2012 fall season has yet to get under way for the Northwest Missouri State men’s and women’s tennis teams and they will have to wait one more day to do so. The Washburn Invitational has been pushed to Saturday, Sept. 8 due to Friday’s forecast in eastern Kansas.

The Bearcats were rained-out last weekend at the Leavenworth Invitational in Leavenworth, Kan. when rain from Hurricane Isaac reached the Midwest. Action from the Washburn Tennis Complex will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday for both the men and women.
