Harrison, Hantack earn ITA awards

MARYVILLE, Mo.-Malcolm Harrison has been named the South Central Region's Senior of the Year and Peter Hantack has been named the region's Assistant Coach of the Year as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).

Harrison set a program record by winning 34 singles matches in a single season. He was 34-3 in singles play and 28-3 in doubles play. He occupied the number one singles position and played mostly number two doubles with partner Daniel Quesada.

Hantack helped lead Northwest to a 19-5 record, the program's second straight MIAA Championship and the team's sixth straight NCAA tournament appearance. Hantack completed his second season as a graduate assistant at Northwest following a men's tennis career at University of Missouri-St. Louis.
