Harrison named MIAA Player of the Week
KANSAS CITY, Mo.-Northwest Missouri State senior tennis athlete Malcolm Harrison was named the MIAA's Athlete of the Week for his performances in last week's matches. The Kansas City native went 4-0 in both singles and doubles competition last week.
Harrison, who is Northwest's number one player, is 12-0 in singles play during the spring season and has dropped just two sets all year. Harrison is also 10-2 in doubles competition this season. This is the second time in three weeks that Harrison has won Player of the Week honors.
Harrison and the Bearcats return to action on Wednesday when they travel to face Missouri-Kansas City in a non-conference match beginning at 4 p.m.
