MIAA tickets now on sale
MARYVILLE, Mo. – Tickets for next month’s MIAA Tournament are now on sale as the Northwest Missouri State men’s basketball team clinched a postseason berth with Saturday’s win against Washburn.
Meanwhile, the Northwest women sit in a three-way tie for ninth, but have not yet officially clinched a postseason berth at this time.
The tournament format has changed with the newly expanded MIAA. The top four teams in the conference standings will receive a bye to Kansas City for quarterfinal play beginning Thursday, March 7. The 5-8 seeds will host first-round postseason games on campus sites for the first time in 11 years against the 9-12 seeds.
First round action will begin Monday, March 4 for the men’s teams
and the women will start Tuesday, March 5 with the winners of those games
advancing to Kansas City. Tickets for first round games at campus sites
are not part of the MIAA all-session ticket and will only be available from the
The men's quarterfinals will tip off Thursday, March 7 at Municipal Auditorium with the women's action beginning Friday, March 8. Semifinal round games are slated for Saturday, March 9 with the men playing in the afternoon session starting at noon, and the women taking over for the 6 p.m. session.
Championship Sunday, March 10, begins with the men's game at 1 p.m. immediately followed by the women's championship game. Both men’s and women’s championship games will be aired on the MIAA TV Network.
TICKETS ON SALE
Tickets for the 2013 MIAA Basketball Championships March 7-10 at Kansas City's Municipal Auditorium are on sale now. Fans can purchase tickets either in person at the Northwest Student Services Center in the Administration Building or by phone Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at 660.562.1212.
For first-round games (Monday, March 4 or Tuesday, March 5) all tickets will be sold through the home team’s ticket office. Season ticket holders and MIAA all-session ticket are not valid for first-round games.
In the event the Bearcat men and/or women host a first round game, Northwest Missouri season ticket holders must purchase a ticket to attend. All season ticket holders will, however, have first opportunity to purchase their season seats.

All-Session - $50 (best value - $65 if purchased at Municipal Auditorium)
Single-Session - $20 – good for any session during the tournament
Students - $5 (ages 6 through college) – good for any session.
Ages 5 and under FREE.
