The Center Court Cat Club
Austin Meyer, Northwest Assistant Men's Basketball Coach
Over the last eight seasons, the Northwest Bearcat basketball program ranks in the top 10 nationally based on win-loss record. It's not a coincidence that the Basketball Booster Club has been in existence for that same eight-year span.
The Center Court Cat Club (CCCC) was conceived in 2001 with the purpose of supporting the men's basketball program through promotion, fan support and financial contributions.
The CCCC boasts a broad membership base consisting of private individuals and local businesses that are committed to helping our basketball program maintain its place as one of the premiere NCAA Division II programs in the nation.
The CCCC is an invaluable member of our basketball "family." The generous contributions and financial support of its members, both past and present, provide the necessary resources that enable us to maintain a first-class program. Our program continues to graduate student-athletes, compete in the MIAA and represent Northwest on a national stage.
The CCCC has helped us take various tournament trips over the years including Las Vegas, San Antonio, Hawaii and many more. It's also given us an opportunity to purchase top-of-the-line uniforms and equipment as well as increase our overall recruiting budget.
Beyond the financial support these individuals and businesses provide, they are instrumental in following our program day-to-day and getting to meet and interact with our staff and players on a regular basis. We can not thank those members enough for being a part of our Bearcat family!!
If you would like any information on becoming a member, or if you would like to get in contact with any current members please contact me at email@example.com or 660-562-1328.
This week the shout out goes to Dave (DC) Colt who will be in town this weekend for the Chip Strong Memorial Golf Tournament. DC is one of the most intelligent and most caring individuals I have ever met and we all look forward to seeing him!! Oh yeah and he's in about five athletic training Hall of Fame's!
