WARRENSBURG, Mo.-Elijah Allen scored a team-high 21 points, but it was seventh-ranked Central Missouri that ran away with a 78-48 win at the UCM Multipurpose Building Saturday. It's the fourth 20-point outing for Allen this season.

Northwest held Central Missouri to its lowest scoring output and shooting performance in a 61-57 win in Maryville back on Jan. 14. The Mules turned the tables Saturday by holding the Bearcats to season lows in points and in field goal percentage at 29 percent.

Northwest made one of its first nine shots and trailed 18-3 six minutes into the game. Central Missouri led by 12 or more points the rest of the way and by no fewer than 19 points in the second half.

The Mules (21-4, 14-4 MIAA) got team-highs of 21 points and eight rebounds from forward Sanijay Watts on 8-of-14 shooting. Joe Young scored 13 off the Central Missouri bench and Tremaine Luellen added 11.

Allen had half of Northwest's 14 field goals. The Bearcats (12-13, 7-11) were 2-of-13 from behind the arc and 18-of-22 from the free-throw line.

The charity stripe was where Northwest's leading scorer got all five of his points. Henry was 0-of-6 from the field in turning in his lowest scoring output since his freshman season. The league's leading rebounder, Henry added 12 to his total Saturday. He also blocked two shots and had two assists and a steal.

Mike Larsen knocked down both of Northwest's three-pointers, including a deep and acrobatic trey with the shot clock winding down in the first half. Larsen made several hussle plays and finished with eight points and two steals.

A crowd of 5,378 was on hand for Central Missouri's first nationally broadcast basketball game. The game was aired live on CBS College Sports Network.

The loss ended Northwest's three-game win streak - its longest this season. Central Missouri improved to 13-0 at home and has won 16 in a row in Warrensburg dating back to a 59-49 loss to Northwest last February.
