Became the first sophomore since Washburn’s Dan Buie in 1996 to be named the MIAA’s Most Valuable Player ... fourth Bearcat to win the award ... previous three were seniors ... started all 31 games ... averaged 17.6 points and 7.5 rebounds ... also led the team in field goal percentage (.577), blocks (36) and minutes played (27.7 mpg.) ... averaged 20.5 points, six rebounds and 2.5 blocks in two MIAA tournament games ... was the only four-time recipient of the MIAA’s Player of the Week award ... had nine double-doubles ... scored 10 points or more in 27 straight games to end the season – the second longest streak since 2003 (28) ... tied for the MIAA lead for field goal percentage and ranked third in scoring, fifth in rebounding, sixth in blocked shots and seventh in free-throw percentage (.755) ... tied for fifth on Northwest’s single-season chart for blocks, finished fifth in field goal percentage, tied for sixth in scoring (546) and sixth in rebounding (234) ... led the Bearcats in scoring 22 times and in rebounding 23 times ... had 16 points and a career-high 16 rebounds vs. Fort Hays State (2/24) ... total was 10th best in the program’s single-game history ... scored a career-high 33 points in a double-overtime win vs. Washburn (2/14) ... was 13-of-14 from the line in that contest ... it was also the most points scored by a Bearcat since 1999 ... scored 20 points or more in 12 games
