Men's Basketball Ranked in NABC Top 25

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Two head-to-head meetings between teams ranked in the
latest NABC Division II rankings will take place this week, including a
matchup of the teams ranked second and third in the nation.

Montevallo retains the top spot for the second week in a row and is
followed by the top two teams in the Great Northwest Athletic
Conference. Those squads -- No. 2 Western Washington and No. 3 Seattle
Pacific -- face off Saturday in Bellingham, Wash. Saint Joseph's moves
up a spot to No. 4 this week and is followed by Northern State, who is
involved in the other contest of ranked teams as the Wolves play Friday
on the road against No. 18 Winona State.

Southwest Baptist, Virginia Union and Fort Hays State all moved up one
spot as well due to Southern Indiana's overtime loss to Southern
Illinois Edwardsville. The Eagles dropped from third to ninth this week,
while Stonehill stays at No. 10 after winning an overtime decision
Monday over Saint Anselm.

Two new teams enter the rankings for the first time this week and both
come in on nice runs. Alderson-Broaddus has won 10 straight and checks
in at No. 21, while Northwest Missouri State makes its first appearance
of the season at No. 23 as it is on a four-game winning streak. The
Bearcats have won 12 of their last 14 games, with both losses coming to
ranked teams during that stretch.
