Midnight Madness to Take Place Nov. 8

MARYVILLE, Mo. - Midnight Madness, a Northwest Missouri State University tradition, will kick off the men's and women's basketball seasons on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at Bearcat Arena. Doors will open at 10 p.m. Admission is free and open to everyone. Free pizza and drink will be provided all night.

Midnight Madness offers a chance for students and the community to meet and greet both the Northwest men's and women's basketball teams. The event gets the fans ready for the basketball season, introducing both the teams in an exciting late-night event with a block party feel.

Students also have the opportunity to compete in contests and participate in several drawings and competitions with combined winnings totaling over $15,000 in cash, prizes, and aladine (campus meal) plans. One student will have the chance to try his or her skill in a shooting competition for a chance at $10,000 cash.
