The 1987 men's tennis teams, together with the 1987 women's tennis team, became the first school to win both MIAA titles in the same season, a feat that has not been recorded to date.
The men's program saw Heiko Struker named one of three singles winners in the MIAA Championship. Overall, the men's squad went 16-4 in dual matches.
Rosewell, who was in his third season in 1987, was honored with MIAA Men's Coach of the Year laurels.
