Bearcat Golfers Place Second at Graceland
LAMONI, Iowa—Northwest Missouri State junior Jessica Feuerbach posted an 18-hole score of 84 to lead the Bearcats to a second-place finish at Graceland’s Yellowjacket Invitational Saturday at Lamoni Golf and Country Club.
Park, led by medalist Plern Promboobpa’s 76, won the event with a team score of 339. Northwest finished at 355, three strokes better than Missouri Valley and six strokes ahead of Avila.
Sara Stratton’s 87 was the seventh-best score, but competed individually and couldn’t be included in the Bearcats’ tally. Erin Luchtel and Tess Edwards both shot 88. Sarah Hayes and Lauren Atkinson shot 95 and 96, respectively.
Northwest is off this week but will host the Bearcat Fall Classic Oct. 1-2 at Mozingo Golf Course in Maryville.
