
Omaha, Neb. –The Northwest Missouri State golf team placed ninth out of 10 schools at the Nebraska-Omaha Fall Classic on Oct.4-5. Junior Erin Luchtel paced the Bearcats with rounds of 88 and 89 for a total of 177 and a tie for 37th.
Jessica Feuerbach shot rounds of 88 and 90 to finish in 40th place for Northwest. Megan Chaney finished in a tie for 44th after a two-round score of 184. Rounding out scores for the Bearcats were Tess Edwards with a score of 194, and Lauren Atkinson with a total of 199.
Upper Iowa’s Laura Taylor won medalist honors with rounds of 73 and 72. Nebraska-Omaha won the team title by 10 strokes with a team score of 619.
Northwest will next compete at the Eagles Fall Invitational on Oct. 15-16 in Overland Park, Kan.
