Edwards Signs to Play Golf at Northwest
MARYVILLE, Mo.—Springfield High School graduate Tess Edwards has signed a national letter of intent to play golf for head coach Pat McLaughlin at Northwest Missouri State University starting this fall.
Edwards shot an 86 to lead Springfield to a third-place finish in the Class 2A Charleston Regional last fall. She also had the low round (85) among Central State Eight Conference golfers at the Mascoutah Sectional.
Edwards received All-Central State Eight Conference special mention and was also a CS8 all-academic selection. She plans to major in international business at Northwest.
