Feuerbach Leads Bearcats to Second-Place Finish at Truman

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Two Bearcats placed within the top 10 to lead Northwest Missouri State to a second-place finish in the spring-opening meet at the Bulldog Classic hosted by Truman State University. Jessica Feuerbach finished fifth with 184 in her second-straight top-five performance.

Feuerbach hit for par on six holes on day two and recorded a pair of birdies during the two-day event. She posted the third-best score on the course in the second day after she cut eight strokes off her day one score. She finished a stroke behind fourth-place Jessica Schepker of Truman.

Erin Luchtel tied for 10th in the 24-player field with a score of 191. She posted two birdies in the front nine today to earn her first top-10 performance of the season and third of her career. Megan Chaney and Sarah Hayes finished 14th and 15th, respectively, to round out scoring players for the Bearcats.

Up Next: The spring schedule resumes next week at the Park Invitational April 13-14. Action will take place at The Deuce Country Club in Parkville, Mo.
