Four Bearcats Shoot Under 90 in Final Day of Nebraska Wesleyan Invite

Final Results

LINCOLN, Neb. - Four Bearcats shot under 90 in day two of the Nebraska Wesleyan Invitational at as the Bearcats finished fifth of 11 teams at Pioneers Golf Course. Jessica Feuerbach tied for 20th with 171, shooting a career-best 85 in the second day.

Erin Luchtel finished with a career-best 176 to tie for 25th overall. Megan Chaney finished in the top 30 for the second time this season with 177 while Sarah Hayes tied for 31st with a career-best 179. The Bearcats tallied a team score of 703, the lowest 36-hole total in program history and a 79-stroke improvement from the season-opener at Drury.

Northwest wraps up the fall season Oct. 9-10 at the Avila Invitational. Competition will take place at the Minor Park Golf Course in Kansas City, Mo.
