LAMONI, Iowa - Northwest Missouri State women's golf captured it's first team title in the second varsity meet in school history. The Bearcats won the Graceland University Yellowjacket Invitational on Sept. 15 with a team score of 362, outscoring Avila (Mo.) (370) and host Graceland (378).
The Bearcats were led by Sarah Hayes who tied for third with an 87. Jessica Feuerbach shot 90, tying for fifth. Sydney Askin finished third among Northwest with a 92, followed by Erin Luchtel at 93 and Lindsey Werdehausen at 94.
Northwest will be in action again at the Avila/Evangel (Mo.) Invitational on Sept. 27-28 in Clinton, Mo.
