Bearcats Sharp in Fall Camp FinaleView photos from the scrimmage on Facebook
MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri football team ended its 2013 fall camp on Thursday evening with the team splitting into two sides for the annual Green and White scrimmage. The green team, which featured the first and second string offensive and defensive units won, 44-9, at Bearcat Stadium.
Senior quarterback Trevor Adams threw for three scores on the evening, connecting on 13-of-18 passes for 190 yards. He also ran for 48 yards on three carries. Sophomore quarterback Brady Bolles had one touchdown pass, connecting with Alex Visk in the second quarter.
In the backfield, Bearcat fans saw carries on the green side from Billy Creason, Justin Fulks, Robert Burton III and Phil Jackson II. Receiver Ruben Thomas, a transfer from Pasadena City College, caught four passes and finished the evening with 120 yards and a touchdown.
Prior to the game, fans got a chance to interact with their favorite Bearcat football players during an autograph session. Fans were provided with copies of the 2013 football schedule poster featuring this year’s senior class.
Northwest will now turn its attention to next Thursday’s season opener against Saginaw Valley State at Bearcat Stadium. Tickets are now on sale at NorthwestBearcats.com.
