Time change for Bearcat football and volleyball
MARYVILLE, Mo. – The MIAA announced over the weekend that this week’s regular season finale between Northwest Missouri State and Missouri Western was selected as the MIAA TV Game of the Week. Kickoff will be at 2:30 p.m. from Bearcat Stadium Saturday.
The Bearcat Stadium Box Offices open at noon with stadium gates opening at 1 p.m.
Along with the time change for Saturday’s football game, the Northwest volleyball team will push back its regular season finale to 7 p.m. Both the football and volleyball teams will honor their seniors before their games.
The Bearcat volleyball team will look to solidify a spot in the upcoming MIAA tournament as they host Truman State. The final week plays an important role in seeding for the postseason tournament as the Bearcat could finish between 5th and 8th needing wins on Tuesday and Saturday to claim the No. 5 seed.
The Bearcat football team enters Saturday’s game with the MIAA title on the line. Playoff implications also loom large as the winner earns an automatic spot in the NCAA Division II playoffs. The official pairings will be announced Sunday at 4 p.m. (EST) on the official NCAA.com Selection Show at ncaa.com.
