Bearcats-Griffons selected as MIAA Game of Week
MARYVILLE, Mo. – The contest between No. 4 Northwest Missouri State and Missouri Western on Saturday, Nov. 5, in St. Joseph, has been selected as the MIAA TV Game of the Week and will kick off at 2 p.m. The selection fills the first week of flex broadcasting as announced by the MIAA on Monday.
This will be the second time this season the Bearcats will be featured as the MIAA TV Game of the Week with the first being their week five matchup with Pittsburg State. Northwest is 7-1 and coming off a 52-28 rout of Washburn, while the Griffons are 6-2 and winners of their last four.
Northwest travels to Missouri Southern this Saturday while Missouri Western is also on the road at Southwest Baptist.
The final flex game in the MIAA TV schedule is the Nov. 12 meeting between Pittsburg State and Missouri Southern in their annual Miners Bowl clash.
