|Jake Soy||Todd Adolf|
Soy is a first-team choice and as such, will be placed on the ballot for the academic All-America team. Adolf is a second-team selection.
To be nominated, a student-athlete must carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or higher, be at least a sophomore eligibility wise and have attended the current academic institution for at least one year.
Soy was a second-team all-district choice a year ago when he was named National Wide Receiver of the Year. This season, Soy leads the third-ranked Bearcats with 46 catches for 782 yards and 10 touchdowns. He enters Saturday's game against Central Missouri tied with Jamaica Rector for the most touchdown receptions in program history with 38. Soy has hauled in a touchdown in five consecutive games.
Adolf was the only kicker in the MIAA who had not missed a kick through the first six games of the 2010 season. He made 88 consecutive extra points to begin his collegiate career before having one blocked against Washburn back on Oct. 23. Adolf kicked a 28-yard field goal in last weekend's win against Fort Hays State and is 2-for-4 on field-goal attempts this season.
Soy carries a 3.81 grade point average while majoring in business management. Adolf carries a 3.89 grade point average and has not declared a major.
