Missouri Class 2 Defensive Player of the Year ... was a two-time all-conference (unan.), all-district and all-state player for the Spoofhounds, who went 13-2 and was the runner-up in the 2008 Class 2A State Title game ... the team didn't allow a point in the third quarter of any game ... it was the school's first trip to the championship game since 1996 ... finished 2008 with 69 tackles and 5.5 sacks ... also competed in track and field
