Northwest's Kermie Schneider Freshman of the Year ... took over kicking duties for the final nine games of the season ... made all 52 extra points and was 3-for-5 on field goals with makes of 38, 32 and 24 yards ... one attempt was blocked ... averaged 60.1 yards and had five touchbacks on 62 kickoffs ... had two touchbacks in playoff games vs. Abilene Christian (11/21) and vs. California (Pa.) (12/5)

2007 football state runner-up ... earned second-team all-metro honors ... honorable mention all-state pick ... led class A in punting with a 40.1 average ... also competed in basketball and soccer ... won the 2007 soccer state title ... had 10 goals and two assists in 2008 (20th leading scorer in the state)
