MARYVILLE, Mo.-The top quarterback-wide receiver combination in Division II was rewarded with top honors as the Web site D2Football.com announced its 2009 All-America Team.

Senior running back LaRon Council, junior offensive guard Brett Grozinger and senior safety Myles Burnsides were second-team honorees.
Northwest Missouri State led all programs with its five selections. In addition, head coach Mel Tjeerdsma was named the site's Coach of the Year after leading the Bearcats to a 14-1 record and the program's third national title in 12 seasons.
