XBOX Heals All Wounds
Sean Paddock, Senior, DE, FootballHey all!
It's been a long couple of weeks. I was so pumped to join in the fun at the MoWest game. It was pretty frustrating to go down on the first series, but I'm proud of the way the team played in the second half. Since then we've been playing pretty good but we're still not where we want to be. It's difficult to keep my head in practice because I'm just watching. I'm doing my best to get healthy and trying to coach up my teammates along the way. Hopefully when I get back we'll be rolling and I can hop into the mix.
Since my injury I haven't been able to participate in our weekly game of walking football. So, despite what Abe tells you, none of the games count until I'm healthy and can participate again. I've been reduced to my couch and my XBOX. I renewed my live subscription and have been off to a good start playing madden online. Unfortunately, I've let three straight games slip through my fingers against my fellow defensive end Roberto. For some reason the game made the Broncos really good and all of a sudden Brian Dawkins brings the wood like Bob Sanders. I feel like I'm battling fate when Adrian Peterson gets stopped three times on fourth-and-inches when he is 1 on 1 with Dawkins. It just doesn't make sense.
I'm about to head up to school to load up to go to Emporia. They do a bunch of different things on offense and that could present a challenge. They have had some adversity in the last few games but they always play well at home. Their QB is just a pup freshman, so I think if we can get to his feet early we'll cause him problems. Well that's it for me. I'm going to go smash some ribs at the Bistro.
