A Letter From Coach Mel Tjeerdsma

Dear Bearcat Fans,

Our team is excited about the opportunity we have Saturday to host Grand Valley State in the Division II semifinals. The excitement of our team is heightened by the fact that the game will be played in front of a nationally televised audience on ESPN2.

As I travel across the country, I have always proclaimed that our fans are the finest in the country. Your passion for our University and your support of our players and team is so impressive and it has been an important part of our success. I'm looking forward to this game and once again your enthusiastic support.

I would ask that you help demonstrate to our guests from Grand Valley, and also to the nation, what a great place this is and what great fans we have here. Let's be first class in all we do and say.

Thanks again for your enthusiasm and support. I'll look for you at the game!
