Northwest Third In Regional Rankings

MARYVILLE, Mo.-Northwest Missouri State (4-1) is No. 3 in the Southwest Region rankings released today by the NCAA. This is the first ranking released by the Division II Football Committee this season. Updated rankings will be distributed every Monday thru Nov. 10.

Chadron State (6-0) and West Texas A&M (6-0) are listed first and second, respectively. The Bearcats are the only MIAA team listed in the top-six. Washburn (No. 7), Pittsburg State (4-2), Central Missouri (4-2) and Missouri Southern (4-2) are currently on the outside looking in.
