Brisbane Nabs MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Sophomore Sydney Brisbane earned MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week honors after returning his first collegiate punt 54 yards for a touchdown in a 86-13 victory over Southwest Baptist on Sept. 29.

Brisbane is the second Bearcat in as many games to return a punt to the endzone. He also notched a 22-yard kickoff return.

His honor marks the third straight week Northwest has had a player earn MIAA Special Teams weekly honors. Kendall Wright won on Sept. 24 and Caleb Obert picked up accolades on Sept. 17.
