Northwest Football Result Under Dispute

MARYVILLE - Thursday's football game between Northwest Missouri State and Arkansas Tech was called due to lightning with 2:30 remaining in the first quarter and with Northwest leading 21-0. The official result of the contest is under dispute.

The MIAA has decided not to post a resolution of the contest until the situation can be further investigated by both institutions.

A decision is hoped to be reached Friday to determine whether Northwest will be credited with a win.
