Erspamer Added To Cactus Bowl Roster

KINGSVILLE, Texas—Northwest Missouri State senior All-American linebacker Jared Erspamer will join teammates Dallas Flynn and Matt Robertson in competing in the Valero Cactus Bowl Division II All-Star Game Jan. 11. The game will take place at Javelina Stadium on the Texas A&M-Kingsville campus at 7 p.m., with a broadcast on Fox Sports Net Southwest.
Erspamer, the MIAA’s Most Valuable Defensive Player, has been named to two All-America teams after recording 111 tackles, 12 for loss, and two sacks in 15 games this season. His 276 career tackles rank eighth all-time at Northwest. Erspamer helped Northwest make its third consecutive championship game appearance.
All three Bearcats will play for the West Team and join seven other players from the MIAA who were selected. The trio is the first Bearcats to appear in the all-star game since Andre Rector was selected for the 2006 contest.
