Fall Classic at Arrowhead IV Notes

Lamberson is 19-5 in his career as a starter.

Since head coach Mel Tjeerdsma took over the controls in 1994, Northwest leads the series 7-6.

Senior quarterback Josh Lamberson breaks the Northwest Missouri State Career Passing Touchdown record with 52, surpassing Chris Greisen's 51.

Northwest is 1-2 when the opponent scores first (loss vs. Nebraska-Omaha, win vs. Central Missouri State, loss vs. Pitt State).

First time an opponent has scored on their opening drive since 9/3/05 (Nebraska-Omaha).

First time this season an opponent has scored 21 points in the first and second quarter against Northwest this season. Last time an opponent scored 21 points in a single quarter was 9/24/05 vs. Missouri Southern (2nd quarter).

Senior quarterback Josh Lamberson logs 5,873 passing yards, moving up to second in career passing yard charts, trailing John McMenamin by 352. Lamberson also moves up to third in Career Passing Attempts with 699, and sets a career high 52 passing attempts while matching his career best 29 pass completions.

52-yard TD reception by Bryan Pray is longest made by an opponent this season since a 57-yard reception by Zac Herold of Nebraska-Omaha (9/3/05) (1st quarter). Longest TD reception made by an opponent this season.

First blocked PAT since 9/3/05 vs. Nebraska-Omaha.

Xavier Omon moves into tie with sixth in Career Touchdowns with 28, ninth in Career Points with 168, and a tie with fifth in Career Rushing Touchdowns with 25.

First time this season an opponent has scored 42 points in one half.

Most points scored by an opponent in a game since 10/8/88 vs. Western Illinois (63). The 56 points scored by Pittsburg State marks the most points scored against Northwest while Tjeerdsma has been head coach. The last time a MIAA conference school scored more than 56 points was 10/23/82 vs. Truman State (63).

90-yard kickoff return by EJ Faulkner is the longest made by Northwest this season. Faulkner sets new personal career best for kickoff returns (previous best on a single kickoff return was 29 vs. Washburn on 10/8/05). The previous best kickoff return for Northwest this season was 73 yards by Syd Brisbane vs. Washburn (10/8/05).

Faulkner also has five kickoff returns for the day, surpassing his personal best of two vs. Missouri Southern (9/24/05). Faulkner also has 170 return yards, surpassing his personal best of 52 from Missouri Southern (9/24/05).

Kendall Wright sets career best two kickoff returns, netting 37 yards, also a career high.

Andre Rector records a career high 200 receiving yards today, his seventh career game of 100+ yards, while setting a career best 13 receptions. Rector moves into fourth in Career Receiving Yards with 2,570.

The last time Northwest had a player record 200+ receiving yards was 11/20/04, when Jamaica Rector recorded 202 vs. Texas A&M-Kingsville.

Pitt State punts for the first time at 6:55 in 3rd Quarter.
