
MARYVILLE, Mo. - The American Football Coaches Association has announced its NCAA Division II Preseason Top 25. Northwest Missouri State University is ranked No. 16 in the poll, voted on by coaches throughout Division II.
Grand Valley State (Mich.), last year's runner-up, is ranked No. 1. North Dakota, last season's NCAA Division II Champion, is No. 2. Other Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association teams ranked in the Top 25 include Pittsburg State at No. 4 and Central Missouri State at No. 23. Truman and Missouri Western State also received some votes. The Bearcats' season-opening opponent, Nebraska-Omaha, was ranked No. 11
