Results from the Roy Griak Invitational and Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Run

Maryville, Mo - The Northwest Missouri State cross country teams return after competing in Chicago and Minneapolis. The men finished 5th out of 25 teams with 150 points at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Run and the women finished 15th of 30 teams with 395 points at the Roy Griak Invitational.

Leading the Bearcats was sophomore Ben Chappell who finished in ninth place overall out of 159 participants in the 8K with a time of 26:34. Chappell has finished first for Northwest for three straight meets now. Senior Brandon Dart finished in second for Northwest and 23rd overall with a time of 27:08.

Junior Anna O'Brien led the women finishing 14th overall in the 6K out of 283 runners with a time of 23:31. Senior Karah Spader finished second for Northwest and 28th overall with a time of 24:06.
