Results from UNL/Woody Greeno Invitational

Lincoln, Neb. - The Bearcats competed today against more than 600 runners and three Division I teams in the UNL/Woody Greeno Invitational. The women finished in eighth place with 210 team points, led by junior Anna O'Brien and the men finished in 14th place with 322 team points, led by sophomore Ben Chappell. Nebraska Wesleyan finished first for the women's College Division and Colorado School of Mines finished first for the men's College Division.

O'Brien led the Bearcats with a 30th-place finish with a time of 23:25.55, improving from last year by 43.3 seconds. Senior Karah Spader finished second among the women in 52nd place with a time of 24:00.10. Chappell finished in 66th place with a time of 27:07.35, and freshman T.R. Pursell finished second for the men with a mark of 27:19.85 in 73rd place.
