Brokaw Joins Bearcat Tracksters

MARYVILLE, Mo. - Northwest Missouri State University head women's track and field and cross country coach Vicki Wooton has announced the signing of Heather Brokaw (Wentzville, Mo.) to a national leatter-of-intent.

Brokaw will run both cross country and track at Northwest.

In cross country, Brokaw was a four-time state qualifier for Wentzville-Holt High School. She was a four-time all-conference and all-district honoree and a two-time all-state performer. She holds the school cross country record. Brokaw was the sectional champion in 2000.

On the track, Brokaw is a two-time state qualifier. She holds her high school's record for the 1600 meters and is on the 4x800-meter relay team that holds the school record. She is a three-time all-conference performer in track as well.

Brokaw will be a freshman at Northwest this fall.
